Dr. Raman Sharma

Dr. Raman Sharma is an ENT surgeon and academician currently serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of ENT at Lady Hardinge Medical College, New Delhi, with clinical responsibilities at Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital (SSKH) and Kalawati Saran Children’s Hospital.

He is actively involved in academic teaching, surgical training, and professional organizational work at both institutional and association levels.

Academic Qualifications and Training

Dr. Sharma is the Treasurer of the Delhi AOI and has previously served as Honorary Editor of both Delhi AOI and HAOI.

He is the Chief Coordinator of the Academic Lecture Series for Residents conducted under the aegis of Haryana AOI since 2023.

He is also the Coordinator of the Head & Neck Panel Discussion Series for Residents under the aegis of Delhi AOI, initiated in 2025.

In addition, he is associated with national public health initiatives as an ENT Expert under the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Deafness (NPPCD), Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW), Government of India.

Dr. Raman Sharma has been actively involved in organising hands-on surgical training programs, including:

  • 8 Temporal Bone Dissection (TBD) Workshops

  • 1 Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS) Workshop

  • Head and Neck Dissection Hands-on Workshops
