A place for clear clinical writing
Introducing GeNext Perspectives: practical ideas, thoughtful discussion and room for more voices in medical education.
The first edition: clear writing, thoughtful learning and room for more voices.

A question from a teaching session can become a useful article. A brief reflection can help another learner reconsider an approach. This newsletter creates a place to return to those ideas after a busy working day.
Our first edition brings together three short Foundation resources about writing and learning. Future editions are intended to include selected contributions, Foundation updates and educational opportunities, each clearly labelled. The articles remain available individually throughout the month.
Introducing GeNext Perspectives: practical ideas, thoughtful discussion and room for more voices in medical education.
A simple writing exercise for making sense of a lecture after the slides have disappeared.
A focused question, a clear audience and an honest account of the evidence make a strong starting point.
Choose one idea from a recent lecture or discussion. Write down what you understood, what remains uncertain and which source you would consult next. This is a writing exercise, not a clinical recommendation or a validated assessment.
We welcome original proposals on surgical education, mentorship, professional reflections and community healthcare. Reading, submission and publication are free. Start with a short outline and author biography; acceptance depends on editorial assessment.
