Publishing and permissions
Clear information about access, responsibility and reuse.
Free reading
The Foundation’s public educational collection is free to read. Public reading does not require membership. External publications retain their own access terms. A forthcoming title or sample is labelled accordingly.
Publisher and author roles
GeNext MedEd Foundation publishes GeNext Perspectives and hosts this educational Library. GeNext MedEd Publications is the proposed imprint for an expanded book and resource programme, subject to formal Foundation adoption. Author-hosted and externally published works keep their stated publishers and rights holders. GeNext Connect Technology is a separate technology organisation; a website credit does not confer publishing rights.
Review and accuracy
Educational articles receive editorial assessment; clinical teaching requires an appropriately qualified reviewer. Reviewers are credited only with their consent and for work they actually reviewed. An author or editor cannot independently review their own clinical work. Each released edition should state its review status, date and version. The Library is not itself a peer-reviewed research journal.
Copyright and reuse
Authors retain rights unless a written agreement states otherwise. A free download does not authorise republication, adaptation or reuse of illustrations. Consult the notice on the individual work. Third-party figures and photographs may have separate restrictions. Creative Commons licences apply only when explicitly stated and when the relevant rights permit them.
Clinical material and AI assistance
Authors remain responsible for accuracy, sources and original contributions. AI assistance in drafting or illustration must be disclosed; AI is not an author or independent clinical reviewer. Patient material requires appropriate confidentiality, consent and institutional review. Do not send patient identifiers with an initial proposal.
External publication and identifiers
Previously published or submitted material must be declared before Foundation release. External journal and publisher agreements are checked first. ISBNs, ISSNs, DOIs, indexing and accreditation are separate matters; none is implied by inclusion in this Library. Confirmed identifiers belong on the individual publication record.
Corrections and versions
To report an error, email manager@genextmed.org with the title, page or figure and your concern. Substantive corrections should be dated and explained. Material with a serious unresolved accuracy, consent or rights concern may be withheld or withdrawn with an appropriate notice.
Contribute
Article proposals are handled through the existing GeNext Perspectives contribution route. For a book or teaching resource, email a working title, audience, outline, contributor list and publication history. Do not attach identifiable clinical records. No publication or submission fee is charged for the current educational article programme. Acceptance is an editorial decision.
