Registered candidates will engage with the approach to treating an oncology patient—from preoperative planning and operative decision-making to intraoperative assistance and postoperative care.
Clinical assessment, imaging review, treatment strategy and operative planning.
Selected candidates may assist intraoperatively under direct faculty supervision.
Understand monitoring, early recovery, complications and continuity of cancer care.
Case discussion, operative decision-making and structured take-home learning.
Selected registered candidates may participate as supervised members of the surgical team and assist during surgery, subject to eligibility, institutional credentialing, patient consent and case suitability.
